Breaking!!! Hostages taken in Rouen church in Normandy region France, Priest killed

France: Two men with knives have been shot dead by police after they killed a priest and took several people hostage in a church located in Saint Etienne du Rouvray, a suburb of Rouen in France’s northern Normandy region on Tuesday police say.
According to a police source, there were about four or six people inside the church including a priest and two nuns and several worshipers.
Gunshot was heard, and the knife men were shot and “neutralised”.
 
One of the hostage, 86-year-old priest, Jacques Hamel, had his throat slit and one other person was wounded.

One of the hostages managed to escape and raised the alarm that there were hostages inside.

According to officials the identities of the attackers and reason behind the attack are unclear.
The French Police Nationale in a Tweet urged media not to cross security tape and take photos or video at the scene of the incident.
Interior Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet said on France-Info radio that French President Francois Hollande and Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve are on their way to the town of Saint-Etienne-en-Rouvray where the hostage took place adding that Anti-terrorism investigators have been summoned in the case.

The knifemen have been ‘neutralised’, according to French police. The priest, 86-year-old Jacques Hamel, had his throat slit and one other person was injured.
