Lionel Messi's representatives have reportedly held talks with
Chelsea, according to The Sun. The report says Messi's father and agent

the Barcelona star perhaps continuing his career at Chelsea. A potential
fee for Messi
would exceed £100 million, and the superstar currently believes Barcelona could have been more supportive during his tax fraud case.

Juventus are willing to make a £17 million bid for Chelsea's
Nemanja Matic, according to the Mirror. The Serie A heavyweights are
wanting to push Chelsea to sell the midfielder, as the Blues are waiting
on the decisions of N'Golo Kante and Radja Nainggolan
before they consider moving on the Serbian international. Juventus
would be willing to pay a transfer fee of £17 million, but also hand
Matic a personal wage of £4.2 million a year.
Manchester United will try to angle for a player swap for Paris Saint-Germain's Blaise Matuidi,
according to The Sun. The report says that Manchester United will try
to lure Matuidi to the club for £20 million, by using Schweinsteiger as a
make-weight for the move. Matuidi has two years left on his current
deal at the club, but it comes as PSG welcome former Sevilla manager Unai Emery
who will be looking to shake things up and make the playing squad his
own. PSG are open to Schweinsteiger making a move over, which may make
such a trade possible.
Victor Valdes could sign for Middlesbrough, according to the
Sun. After being let go by Manchester United, Valdes is set for a
medical at Middlesbrough later today. Manager Aitor Karanka and his team
headed to Spain last week to convince Valdes of a move, and the
34-year-old could be on his way to the Premier League again as Besiktas and Sporting Lisbon keep an eye on proceedings.
