Messi opens up to Chelsea move after talks
Lionel Messi's representatives have reportedly held talks with Chelsea, according to The Sun. The report says Messi's father and agent Jorge, met with Roman Abramovich aboard his super-yacht to speak about the Barcelona star perhaps continuing his career at Chelsea. A potential fee for Messi
would exceed £100 million, and the superstar currently believes Barcelona could have been more supportive during his tax fraud case.
Juventus keen on £17 million Matic move
Juventus are willing to make a £17 million bid for Chelsea's Nemanja Matic, according to the Mirror. The Serie A heavyweights are wanting to push Chelsea to sell the midfielder, as the Blues are waiting on the decisions of N'Golo Kante and Radja Nainggolan before they consider moving on the Serbian international. Juventus would be willing to pay a transfer fee of £17 million, but also hand Matic a personal wage of £4.2 million a year. 


United want Schweinsteiger-Matudi swap with PSG
Manchester United will try to angle for a player swap for Paris Saint-Germain's Blaise Matuidi, according to The Sun. The report says that Manchester United will try to lure Matuidi to the club for £20 million, by using Schweinsteiger as a make-weight for the move. Matuidi has two years left on his current deal at the club, but it comes as PSG welcome former Sevilla manager Unai Emery who will be looking to shake things up and make the playing squad his own. PSG are open to Schweinsteiger making a move over, which may make such a trade possible. 


Victor Valdes lined up for Middlesbrough transfer
Victor Valdes could sign for Middlesbrough, according to the Sun. After being let go by Manchester United, Valdes is set for a medical at Middlesbrough later today. Manager Aitor Karanka and his team headed to Spain last week to convince Valdes of a move, and the 34-year-old could be on his way to the Premier League again as Besiktas and Sporting Lisbon keep an eye on proceedings.
