Big Sam's time has arrived

Sam Allardyce has left Sunderland's
training camp in Austria to fly back to England and meet with the FA
over the vacant England manager's job - reports The Sun. English
football's governing body are keen on appointing Allardyce, but Jurgen Klinsmann and Steve Bruce have also been linked
with the post.
West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan has valued midfielder Dimitri Payet
at an astonishing £100m - reports The Express. The Hammers' star
midfielder enjoyed a stellar Euro 2016 as France reached the final of
their own tournament before a heart-breaking extra-time defeat to
Portugal on Sunday. But France's loss hasn't put Real Madrid off Payet,
with the Spanish club still keen on bringing the playmaker to the
Bernabeu for the new season.
United and Real in record transfer tussle
Manchester United are hopeful of beating Real Madrid to the signing of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba
- reports The Sun. The Old Trafford club have trumped Real with a
world-record £100m bid for the France international, but Pogba
reportedly prefers the prospect of playing under Les Bleus legend
Zinedine Zidane in Madrid. Both clubs are still in the race to sign the
talented midfielder, with an eye-watering transfer fee almost
inevitable... although United hope that their relationship with Pogba's
agent will prove the difference.
