Football Paper Round: Arsenal may move for Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi; Reds eye Wijnaldum

Arsenal line up Icardi as missing piece
Arsenal are interested in Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi as they attempt to fill a much-needed spot up front after falling short season after season with their current crop of attackers. While Olivier Giroud has produced a decent goal record, the France international cannot be trusted in the big games
to make the difference, and this is where the Argentina striker comes in, according to Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri striker has grown frustrated by the lack of service in Roberto Mancini's side, and the Gunners could now offer the La Masia product a way out of Milan with a bid of up to £46 million.

Reds eye Toon star to bolster midfield
Liverpool are keen on Newcastle's Georginio Wijnaldum and want to close a deal for a fee in the region of £20m, though the Telegraph suggests the Toon want up to £27m for the Dutch international.
The Reds are optimistic a deal can be finalised this week for the 25-year-old to boost a lethargic summer whereby the prospect of a top-four finish was otherwise waning.
Jurgen Klopp appears to be accelerating his business after agreeing to a £3.5m deal for Estonian defender Ragnar Klavan from Augsburg, while adding that he still wants to bring in at least one or two more players during the summer window after Liverpool beat Wigan 2-0 in a friendly on Sunday.
Spurs eye Marseille ace
Tottenham are in need of major reinforcements this summer as they prepare for life in the Champions League with a view to maintaining their place in the top four.
Mauricio Pochettino is looking at finalising a deal for Georges-Kevin N'Koudou from Marseille in a deal worth up to £11m, according to the Mail.
The 21-year-old is a tricky winger who could offer Spurs a different dimension, while the London club may have to send last summer's flop, Clinton N'Jie, in the opposite direction to secure an agreement.
N'Koudou produced six goals and three assists last campaign, but could prosper in Tottenham's energetic system.

Lazio and Swansea circle for Hammers striker
As West Ham search for a big-money striker, their existing crop appear to be growing frustrated with a lack of love, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Enner Valencia could appear on the the Swansea or Lazio radar this summer after a lack of playing time has him reportedly looking for the exits.
An £8.4m bid from Francesco Guidolin's side, with another £2.5m in bonuses, appears likely to top the Rome-based club for the Ecuador international.
