Dallas Shooting: Photos of Dallas gunman dead body leaked online

US: Photos leaked online appeared to show the dead bloodied body of Dallas cop shooter, Micah Xavier Johnson after he was blown up by a 'bomb robot' on Thursday. See photos below

One of the photo showed a dead man on the ground wearing an armored vest. While another photo showed a Saiga semi-automatic rifle with a 30-round magazine.

According to a former senior US army explosives expert, the photos appear genuine adding that, the blast scene protrayed in the photos and the state of the corpse were consistent with the remote controlled bomb tactic used to kill Johnson.




Dallas Police Dept Deputy Chief Rob Sherwin said:

‘The Dallas Police Department and the FBI have received media inquiries regarding photographs that are being circulated on the internet that are being depicted as crime scene photos from the incident where 5 police officers lost their lives on Thursday, July 7, 2016.

The Dallas Police Department and FBI has refused to confirm if the gruesome images anonymously posted online are from the Dallas crime scene.
