Dallas shooting: Parents of Dallas police shooter Micah Xaviers' speak out for the first time 'i love my son, i hate what he did'

US: The parents of 25 year old former army reservist Micah Xavier Johnson, who shoot and killed five police officers at a Black Lives Matter protest on Thursday last week spoke out about their son in an emotional interview with The Blaze.
His mother Delphine Johnson 49, said their son changed when he returned home from the army.

"The military was not what Micah thought it would be," his mother,
"He was very disappointed, very disappointed, but it may be that the ideal that he thought of our government, of what he thought the military represented, it just didn't live up to his expectations." she said.
His parents said Johnson changed from an extrovert into a "hermit" during his six years in the army, which included a stint in Afghanistan when he returned in July 2014.

His father James Johnson, 55 who broke down in tears said,
"I don't know what to say to anybody to make anything better. I didn't see it coming."
"I love my son with all my heart, I hate what he did."
