Caesarean section video shows baby crawling out of womb by itself as doctors watch on in awe
The amazing footage was posted on Facebook with more than 10,000 shares and 700,000 views on the social media site, shows the beautiful moment the baby boy came out from the womb as doctors look on in amazement.
The footage then shows the baby crawl out of the womb by himself, only being aided once by the medical team.
Once the baby's head has emerged from the womb, the baby is then seen bringing his right arm out and using his strength to pull out of his mother's womb.
As the baby emerge out of the womb, the doctors were heard saying: "Awww, look at him."
One of the medical staff then releases the baby's shoulder, as the doctors were heard in the background saying: "Here he is, he's coming now." As the baby emerges, the mother then tearfully said "oh my gosh!" before being placed into her arms.
Family friend of the woman Sophie Messager, who posted the video, said: "A friend had the most gorgeous gentle cesarean yesterday.
"She had to move to another hospital where she found the most supportive consultant, who not only agreed to support all her wishes but filmed the birth to use it to educate other health pros. "I especially loved watching the baby walking himself out of the womb. The mum also told me that someone stood holding a mirror for her and that the anaesthetist lifted her shoulders so she could see better.
"They also waited until the cord had finished pulsating before clamping it. For me this really shows how it isn't how the baby is born but how the people present respect wishes and demonstrate support and kindness that makes a beautiful birth."
Facebook users reacted to the amazing "magical" footage, with many praising the doctors' approach to the procedure.
One user from Hertfordshire, Diana Sporle wrote: "Really amazing. What a fantastic birth team!" Sarah Caldwell, from Milton Keynes, said: "I've watched this about 15 times already. Incredible." Julie-Anne Mullan said: "Noticing the language of love and support from medical team to mum. How marvellous to have her wishes and desires become theirs too! Congratulations to all." Nicola Witcombe wrote: "I'm sitting here blubbing!!! That was beautiful amazing gorgeous! The love in that room was so palpable! Loving this mumma's strength! Please let us know when we can share! Wish her and the family a lovely baby moon with their precious new addition."
But some users questioned the safety of the natural birth.
A midwife from Bury St Edmunds, Alison Blenkinsop commented on how long the medical team waited before aiding the baby out of the womb.
"I was surprised they waited so long before giving the first help to the shoulders, but I realise they will have been monitoring breathing," she said.
God is great
