68 killed by Flash floods in Nepal, India

India: At least 68 people have been killed and another 15 people missing by flash floods and landslides in Nepal, India in the past three days said authorities.
Spokesman for Nepal's home ministry, Yadav Koirala on Thursday said rescue teams constituting of soldiers and police personnel used rubber boats and helicopters to rescue people from rooftops and trees.

Some rescuers paddled through waist-deep water with women and children, police said.

In the western town of Butwal, 170km from Kathmandu, local TV stations showed the Tinau river washing away a massive suspension bridge.
