Woman shoots her two daughters dead in Texas

US: A 42 years old Texas mother on Friday shot and killed her two daughters in front of their home just outside the Houston suburb of Fulshear after a family dispute, before being shot and killed herself by the police.

Police said they received a call around 5pm from Christy’s neighbors about the incident. 
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office spokesman, Sheriff Troy Nehls said the woman was identified as Christy Sheats and her daughters as Taylor Sheats, 22 and Madison Sheats 17. He added that  Taylor passed away on the street, while Madison had to be airlifted to hospital, where she died later.
The devastated father of the children who was home at the time of the incident, was taken to the hospital unharmed. 
Sheriff Nehls said that;

“It was a family argument that turned into a shooting. But we’re still trying to put the pieces together. Right now, all we can do is try to pray for the father and the husband so he can try to work through this.”

In a statement, Nehls said;  the two younger women had already been shot when a Fulshear police officer arrived and saw the mother with a gun in her hand, apparently preparing to shoot one of her daughters again.

According to report, Christy who was still holding a gun, refused to drop the weapon after she was told by an officer to drop the gun which prompted the officer to open fire.
