Trump parts ways with campaign manager Lewandowski

US: US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has parted ways with long time embattled campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, announced a Trump campaign spokeswoman, Hope Hicks on Monday.

In her statement,  Hope Hicks said,
“The Donald J. Trump Campaign for President, which has set a historic record in the Republican primary having received almost 14 million votes, has today announced that Corey Lewandowski will no longer be working with the campaign.”
There was no immediate response from Lewandowski.
Lewandowski’s departure comes amid current setbacks Trump has faced in the last two weeks. Trump's renewed calls for Muslims to be banned from entering the US has drawn widespread criticism from everyone alike.

Lewandowski, a former New Hampshire field director for a conservative advocacy group, has been with Trump since he declared his intention to run for the White house a year ago
