Start UK EU departure talks now: EU president, Juncker

Germany: President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker has called on the UK to begin its EU departure immediately.
During an interview with Germany's ARD television station Juncker said he is ready to start negotiations with Britain to depart from the European Union, adding that there is no reason to wait until October, when British Prime Minister David Cameron has announced his resignation from his post.
"Britons decided yesterday that they want to leave the European Union, so it doesn't make any sense to wait until October to try to negotiate the terms of their departure," Juncker said. "I would like to get started immediately."
Juncker added that the EU would pursue a "reasonable approach" in negotiating the exit.
"It's not an amicable divorce, but it was not exactly a tight love affair anyway," he said.
