Niger Delta Avengers debunks rumour it met with the Federal Government of Nigeria

Nigeria: The Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, has debunk rumors making the rounds that it met and held talk with representatives of the Federal Government of Nigeria led by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu which was reported to have held in Asaba, Delta State, On Thursday.

In a tweet posted on its handle: @NDavengers this morning, the militant group denied the meeting, saying, “According to SaharaReporter, Niger Delta Avenger, NDA, and the Nigerian government had a meeting in Asaba, Delta State to Dialogue.

“We want to say it’s a lie and anybody parading themselves as Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, representatives are political jobbers.

“@SaharaReporters THEY ARE NOT OUR REPRESENTATIVES.”
