City and Liverpool battle for Andros
Chelsea plan double Italian swoop
Morgan Schneiderlin is surplus to requirements at Manchester
United and is set to be reunited with his former boss Ronald Koeman at
Everton - reports The Sun. Jose Mourinho is in the middle of a clear-out
since taking over at Old Trafford and believes that the former Southampton
midfielder does
not fit with his plans for next season. Schneiderlin -
who cost £25m a year ago - would be available for a reduced fee, and
Koeman is desperate to team up with the Frenchman again at Goodison
Park.City and Liverpool battle for Andros
Andros Townsend's release clause could be met by both Manchester
City and Liverpool, reports The Telegraph. Townsend's impressive
displays for Newcastle in the club's relegation season caught the eye of a number of Premier League scouts, with Crystal Palace,
Southampton and West Ham already known as suitors of the winger. But
top-flight big-hitters City and Liverpool believe that the direct wide
man would be a bargain buy and are interested in a cut-price deal.
Chelsea plan double Italian swoop
Antonio Conte wants to bring two Italy internationals to Chelsea, with Antonio Candreva and Leonardo Bonucci
in his sights - reports The Sun. The Chelsea wants experience in his
squad and has earmarked the pair as perfect summer additions. Winger
Candreva has told his club Lazio
that he wishes to leave, with Inter Milan the initial favourites before
Chelsea entered the race for his signature. And centre-back Bonucci has
anchored Juventus' recent dominance in Italy and would provide experience alongside Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma in a back-three at Chelsea next season.
