England exits Europe twice in 1 week

England: England for the second time in a week exited Europe. After about 33 million people decided UK's fate to leave the EU, it took much more less than that number to exit Euros 2016 in France.

England made a perfect start against Iceland, they took the lead inside the first five minutes.
However, England took foot off the pedal and allowed Iceland to claw back into the game when Ragnar Sigurdsson and Kolbeinn Sigthórsson fired Iceland into the lead inside 20 minutes.

England lost 2-1 to Iceland in a game the British dominated through out the duration of the match. England were awful, slow and tepid in attack, clueless in midfield and timid in defence,

Roy Hodgson resigned as England manager following the result
Hodgson described the loss as "not acceptable" and said it was "time for someone else to oversee the progress team."
Also departing with him is his assistants Ray Lewington and Gary Neville.

Fans were quick to react on social media, with the odd Brexit joke flying about.
