Drama as Ooni Of Ife, and crew cause panic in US with ‘fire’
Nigeria: It was all drama on Tuesday at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art, Washington DC when the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and his entourage began performing a traditional rights at the museum.
It all started when the fire used for the traditional rites caused scare and panic among residents who quickly alert fire fighters of a possible fire outbreak. The fire fighters quickly mobilized to the venue and was told on arrival that the it was the Oba performing a traditional rite after which they left.
