Cyprus weather update: Short break from high temperatures

Cyprus: According to Cyprus met office on Tuesday, there will be a slight drop in temperature and it is also expected to rain this week, but the weekend is set to be hotter.

Temperatures are expected to be cooler, between 35 and 36 degrees Celsius until Friday. These are average season temperatures, said the met office. However on Saturday, temperatures are expected to go higher up to 39C for a couple of days in the coming week.
Rain showers are expected on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, with the likelihood of storms in the mountainous areas and inland.
