Son of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mohammed Uwais killed in Syrian airstrike

According to Sahara Reporters, Ibrahim Uwais, 41 years old son of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mohammed Uwais, who reportedly left Nigeria with his two wives and children in February 2015 to join the Islamic terror group, ISIS, was killed on Monday May 9th near Aleppo, Syria during an airstrike targeted at members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) by the US

According to Sahara reporters, source told said that Ibrahim was one of numerous Islamist terrorists who perished as US military aircraft bombarded known ISIS camps near the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo.‎

News of Ibrahim joining the terror group broke last year. His father served as the Chief Justice of Nigeria from 1995 to 2006.
