Morgan Wrightson 5, from Bradford stunned his uncle Sean 21 when he asked for a hilarious haircut like Mr Burns from the Simpsons just to look like his bald neighbor.
Instead of shaving off his hair completely, Morgan wanted the
sides and back to be left intact – in honour of a 35-year-old family
friend, Trevor.
‘It’s one of the strangest things I’ve ever heard from a kid,’ Sean
said. ‘I’ve never cut anyone’s hair before, but we’ve got some clippers
so I gave it a go.
‘I asked what he wanted and he said he wanted to look like Trevor.
‘I didn’t really know what to think but, like I say, Morgan is the boss. You have to give kids what they want.’
Apparently his mum was ‘stunned’ when she first saw it, as were Morgan’s teachers – whom he demanded call him ‘Trevor’ all day.
‘He’s a right little character,’ his mum Joanne said. ‘I do give him a
choice in how he does his hair, but I think it looks much better now
it’s the same all over.’
Morgan, who was visiting his grandparents, rushed
next door to compare his new hair-do with Trevor, who he describes as
his 'hero'.
This is what happens when you let a five-year-old decide their own haircut.
Wonder's will never end
