Cyprus Update: Progress achieved in four chapters: Akıncı

North Cyprus President Mustafa Akıncı and the Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiades met on Friday 6 of May, as part of the ongoing Cyprus reunification negotiations. The leaders last met on 25^th April, which Akıncı had described as “fruitful”, in terms of reaching a full consensus on the first four chapters. Stating
that it is not possible to make new progress at each meeting, Akıncı said that he believed progress had been made towards an agreement.
