Cyprus Update: Cyprus solution can be found the soonest if EU and UN values are fully adopted, Nicos Anastasiades

Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades on Monday in Turkey during the intervention at the World Humanitarian Summit held in Istanbul said a Cyprus solution can be found the soonest possible, if the EU and UN values and principles are fully adopted.

Nicos Cyprus however is an EU member state, which has been experiencing violent division for over 42 years now.

Anastasiades said he hopes that the leaders of the two communities will show the necessary courage to take decisions at the UN-led negotiating process aiming to reunite the divided island.
