Akon to sell home at a loss

 

Senegal American born rapper, Akon has put up his Sandy Springs GA crib for sale. The rapper come philanthropist is putting the house for auction at $2.595million which is at a loss as he bought the edifice at $2.7million. Despite putting the house up at a loss, the crib still needs some renovation. It needs roof repair.
It has two swimming pools, 2 guest houses, a basketball and a tennis courts all on a massive lot. Akon is not only a music lover, he is a also a solution provider. He is hoping to provide electricity to 600 million people in Africa with his Akon Lighting Africa project, a programme meant for African countries. With this project, Akon aims to train Africans in ‘every aspect of installing and maintaining solar-powered electric systems and micro-grids’ given that the continent has 320 days of sunshine a year, particularly since 622 million Africans still do not have access to electricity.
